Affiliate Marketing Tips – How to Make Money Giving Away Free Cell Phones

March 9th, 2010 No comments

Want a home based business that is easy and has very little start up cost? Then do I have an opportunity for you! Best of all you can do this online or offline and there is no limit to your income potential. So lets get started.

Instructions

  1. You do not need a website or need to have any experience to participate in this program. First step is to sign up for your free affiliate account at: http://www.tmiwireless.com/affiliate/?aid=22857 . This is 100% free to join and let you start your own affiliate business. You will also be able to access satiate TV equipment giveaways and home alarm systems.
  2. After signing up you will get access to your free back office. This is where you will be able to get your promotion materials, view your stats and even get some training from the quick start guide. Take some time here to get familiar with your office.
  3. Now, I am going to tell you the secret to getting cell phone orders. This is where there is some small cost involved. Unlike a lot of affiliate programs online, that make you place banners on websites or pay a fortune doing Google Adwords, this business can be run 100% offline. Print fliers. Print lots of them and leave them anywhere you can. Always ask permission first. These fliers are great because they do not only give the website to order but an 800 number for orders, as well. On the fliers is a promotion code that must be given when they phone in the order or even go to the website. This promotion number is your affiliate ID#, making sure that you get credit for the order.
  4. Step four is where you put your promotion in HIGH GEAR. In many cities there are bi-weekly ad papers( Thrifty Nickel, American Classifieds, Ad Sack, Penny Saver, etc.) These papers are full of ads and are relatively very inexpensive to place ads in. Place an ad in one of these papers and your ad might be seen by more than 10,000 viewers or more depending on the circulation in your area. There are different ad formats, the one that works best for me is a 2×2 framed ad. You may want a larger one if your budget allows.
  5. Now that you have your home business started the final step is, of course, to get an army of affiliates to join under you. Place another ad for “work at home” and give a short ad why they should “Give away free cell phones” and a include your website link for affiliate sign ups. That’s it. Now you have a home business with unlimited income on a shoe string budget. Good luck!

Tips & Warnings

  • If you want to really increase your commissions, then do this very easy step. Get your own upper domain name, a www.yoursite.com. Make sure the domain name is short, memorable, and has something to do with cell phones, communications or along those lines. Then have the domain name redirect to your long affiliate website. This can be done by the by the company you buy the domain name from. There are some sites you can get a domain name for as little as $7.00 a year. This step will increase confidence in the visitor to your site.
  • Take it nice and slow with your advertising budget. Slow and steady wins the race

Affiliate Marketing Tips – How to Make Fabric Tubes

February 23rd, 2010 No comments

Fabric tubes can be used in many of your home sewing, decor and craft projects. You could thread an elastic through it to make a scrunchie, or you could iron it flat to make ties for a cushion cover.

Instructions

  1. Cut a long skinny strip of fabric. The width depends on what you want. For a scrunchie, it could be 2-3 inches wide, for a cushion cover tie, it could be anywhere from 1/2 inch to 2 inches wide, depending on if you want the ties to be thin or chunky.
  2. Fold the fabric in half lengthwise with the right sides of the fabric facing each other. Press it with an iron to help it hold.
  3. Take a piece of string or yarn that is longer than the length of your fabric strip. Place it in-between the fabric and sew one end closed to hold the string in place.
  4. Now sew lengthwise along the open edge of your folded fabric strip. Sew close to the edge and do not sew over the string/yard. Make sure that the string/yard is as close to the fold as possible.
  5. Once the long edge is all sewn up, hold the end of the string in one hand and start to pull it through the fabric tube. This will make the end of the fabric start to come through itself and as you work your way to the end, you should have a tube of fabric with the right side of the fabric visible and a string sewn into one end.
  6. Cut off the edge with the string sewn in.
  7. If using for cushion ties, iron the tube flat. Cut to the desired lengths. Double fold the raw edges on one end over and stitch to create a finished edge. The side of the tie with the unfinished edge will be sewn onto the inside edge of the cushion cover so you do not need to finish it unless you want to.

Tips & Warnings

  • To make a scrunchie, measure a small amount of elastic band, 3-4 inches. insert it into the fabric tube, holding onto one end, and threading through till it comes out the other end. Fabric will be scrunched at this point. Sew the ends of the elastic together. Fold the raw edges of the fabric tube inside itself, insert one edge into the other so the ends of the fabric tube overlap, and sew across, closing the fabric tube and finishing a quick scrunchie.

Affiliate Marketing Tips – How to Blog for Cash At Today.com

February 16th, 2010 No comments

On my adventurous quest to try this whole ‘Multiple Streams of Income’ tactic, I’ve often run across banner ads for Today.com, a blogging website. As per usual, I would get distracted by some other bright, shiny, flashing banner ad for wrinkle defense, and off I would go. Recently, however, a fellow writer on a forum posted her linkie for this blog-for-cash site, and I was hooked. So, fellow moneymakers, hobbyists, and friends, I wish to share with you another writing opportunity. Read on!

Instructions

  1. UPDATE: Please READ!! Today.com has changed their payment policy. Now, when you sign up, you are on a CPM payment scale (.0002 cents per page view=$2 per 1000 unique visits). After 30 days, your blog will be reviewed, and if they find it to be superior, you may then start to be paid per post.

They have also added a Product Affiliate program, where you can add product links to your blog, and make earnings from sales of those items.
  2. If you’ve got a good 15-20 minutes a day to spare, writing for Today.com may be just the gig for which you’ve been searching. You get to tweak and twirl, and spin out your own spiffy looking blog, and you get paid $1 per 100-word post per day. That’s right, folks. You heard me: ONE DOLLAR per day. Yeah, I know, it doesn’t sound like much up front, but hey, it adds up to an extra $365 a year. That’s $365 you get just for typing a short blurb about something you’re really in to!
  3. In addition to that nice little bit of change, you also have the power to earn even more jinglies in your pocket by:

    a. referring other bloggers, at a rate of $5 per referral
    b. $2.00 per 1000 unique visits to your blog
    c. monthly bonuses for those with the highest amount of referrals

Therefore, if you’ve already got a huge fan base, or you can sway many thousands of peoples with some cherry Kool-Aid, you could rake in some serious dough!
  4. You cannot, however, post your referral links for other websites, nor can you use your Adsense account, if you have one. Those who utilize Today.com’s free blogging can, however, use Adsense. It’s up to you to decide which alternative would be more beneficial for your piggy bank!
  5. Having weighed all the pros and cons, you have decided to join me, eh? Here’s what you’ll need to do:

    1. Follow the link below (yes, it’s my referral link)
    2. Follow the application process, read the terms and submit your applications
    3. When asked who referred you, by all means, feel free to enter my name: Miragi

Today.com states that it may take up to 30 days for your blog to be approved. I had my approval within 24 hours of applying. I recommend submitting a writing sample or links to some examples of your work on other sites. That may help speed up the approval process.
  6. Once you receive your notice of approval, via email, simply follow the enclosed link, and you’re on your way to fame and fortune, 100 words at a time! You ROCK!

Tips & Warnings

  • Write some high-quality, traffic luring content and you could get an increase in your daily earning
  • Write poorly and you might face a pay cut

Affiliate Marketing Tips – How to Make Ends Meet with Multiple Income Streams

February 10th, 2010 No comments

In today’s economy one job is no longer enough to make ends meet financially. Neither is one freelance writing gig or one affiliate program. In order to make ends meet, you have to have multiple income streams and work each one smartly. The question is how to keep up with them all? Here are a few tips.

Instructions

  1. ListList all of the income streams. List them in several places. Place one list on the wall above your computer, another one in your computer on a spreadsheet or word document. Place a list on your bathroom mirror so you can see it when you brush your teeth. Keep a list on the refrigerator door and another one on your car’s dashboard and any other place you look at frequently. Having them in front of your face all the time motivates you to continue working them.
  2. Organize your activities. Some revenue sources require daily activity while other sources require weekly or bi-weekly activities. Take time to sit down and plan how to incorporate the daily money making activities into your day. Remember to take non-work related tasks into consideration when organizing your activities. If you have children or are actively involved in your community or church, schedule those activities into your organization chart. Not doing so leads to frustration and a sense of not having enough time in the day.
  3. Schedule EventsKeep track of your schedule. After you’ve organized your activities, write things down in a planner so that you won’t forget important appointments and deadlines. With multiple income streams it’s easy to become overwhelmed if you don’t have a reminder system.
  4. Revise your schedule as needed. As income streams change, you’ve got to go with the flow. If one stream looks like its drying up, replace it as soon as possible. Don’t sit around complaining about how things have changed and reminisce about the “good old days.” Time to look for new streams.
  5. Who Moved My CheeseRead the book Who Moved My Cheese by Spenser Johnson. When making ends meet depends on finding and making the most of available opportunities, you have to be able to keep your finger on the pulse of the income generating streams. Who Moved My Cheese is a tool that will help you hone your moneymaking skills.
